Minority Report - Season 1 Review

My Monday nights were quite eventful and fun when Minority Report was on! Every Monday I went to Twitter...tweeting and RTing fellow Minority Report fans as we rally to keep our show alive. Interesting thing about Minority Report is besides it's diversity the show is just a good time. The beginning episodes I saw many people complaining about it not being the Tom Cruise film and that it's too predictable and generic. Minority Report goal was never to be a duplicate of the movie, but a continual story from the movie.
The future looks amazing and is meshed well within the show. The show found its footing midway and ended its season strong. Fans of the movie know the basic summary about precrime and the precogs, which is the basic premise of the show.

The cast
Lara Vega is dedicated/smart detective. (She wears cool leather jackets all season long)
Dash is a precog who wants to do good for humanity. (No filter, awkward moments expected)
Arthur is precog (Dash's bro) handsome but cunning. (Excellent flashback makes you understand the character even better)

Comic-Con 2015: I am Nerd and my name is Nadeen

I am a Nerd. My early nerd life began with me being completely obsessed with The X-Files, my mom can tell you about me never missing an episode and being completely convinced I was an alien investigator. My love of science fiction came from The X-Files, my love of horror happened years before when I would watch Tales from The Darkside and Monsters. I was never a kid who was afraid of monsters, I loved looking at them and watching them scare people, so this was a natural progression for me into my adulthood of fandom/nerdom/geekdom!

My freshman year in high school I discovered the comic book store in Newark and I would go in there just to browse. The X-Files and Tales from the Crypt had comics, so I started buying! Those initial purchases branched off into me building my comic book collection...it's not huge but it makes me remember my youthful days. The X-Files, Tales from the Crypt, The Crow (which I will dedicate an entire post) and Spawn were my first buys.

Let's see I love all things horror, science fiction, comics and anime of course I belong at Comic-Con! NYCC 2015 was the second time I attended and by far it was the best day of 2015! I was only able to snag a Thursday ticket and I literally left the last screening at 8pm, which means I spent 7 hours in utopia. Below are some cool pictures that highlight my highest point of 2015. Next year I need to try to harder to snag a 3 day pass, trust me one is not enough!

Cold Weather means Winter Fragrance Shopping: Tocca Beauty Colette

I LOVE perfumes. My love of fragrances began when I started working at the mall when I was in high school and I would kill time and walk around the department stores and explore. During my exploration I would discover the variety of fragrance options available and finding out which ones worked best on me, with my body chemistry.

As the seasons change, my scents change with them. I like strong feminine robust fragrances, deep florals, light spices with some sweetness. It's difficult to describe a scent online and trial and error is key! So everyone go to your local department store or Sephora and grab some testers and start sniffing!

My winter scent is Tocca Beauty Colette
Colette is very feminine, but also has a strong lemon melody to it. I enjoy citrus and vanilla and Colette combines them both wonderfully!
Fancy Description from Amazon
Inspired by the French novelist and libertine, Colette, Tocca's newest fine fragrance captures the seductive essence of a woman. Known for her romantic liaisons as much as her inspiring writing, Colette embodies the irresistible scent of a woman that lingers on the pillow long after she leaves. Warm, spicy and sweet, Colette is the perfect fragrance for the sensual woman in us all.Notes:Bergamot, Mandarin, Lemon, Juniper Berry, Pink Peppercorn, Jasmine, Violet, Cyclamen, Pine Needles, Incense, Musk, Sandalwood, Amber, Vanilla, Cedarwood.Style:Spicy. Sweet. Seductive.

The description is perfection!

Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia

My experience entering the historic Ebenezer Baptist Church was surreal. These pictures don't do this church justice, this history is oozing from it. I am not a religious person, but I took a moment to sit down in the pew and listen to the recording of the service from the 1960's and it was very intense. You must experience this for yourself.
